Which do you prefer?
Online shopping or visiting the actual shop?
We know both have pros and cons.
But for me, I like shopping online than vising the actual shop?
Why? Because thru online shop there are many store to choose.
and you can compare the prices and the specs
and you can also read customers review.
Although there are advantages to visiting the actual shop.
For example, buying a dress or shoes.
which is not easy with the online shop.
So which do you prefer?
and why?

I don't like buying groceries online either.
I have a small sari-sari store so I buy for that, too. I prefer getting items personally. When someone else picks items for me, then it's delivered, my experience is that I get wrong items or 'bad' items (for example, flattened bag of chips that I would be embarrassed to sell to customers).

I prefer, in stores, because you can pick the item yourself like fruits and vegetables, but if you pick a junk one, no one else to blame
, clothes not all uniform sizes for things so must try on and things like bread you can feel freshness or not. But, there was a battery, only online shopping had, I needed.

@oahuwriter, yes, agree with you. It's very important to buy in actual than in a blinded shopping online.

Yes, I like to try on, feel material and pick and choose things. Although, I've bought, half rotten avocado, too.

Between Lazada and Shoppee, I think it's a little safer in Lazada, if only because in order to create a Lazada shop, they require you to submit a business permit.
Shoppee does not have such a requirement which is why it could be easier for scammers and bogus sellers to set up a shop there.
(At least this was how it was when I was setting up shop. I don't know if they have changed requirements since. But anyway, this is why I have a shop on Shoppee but not a shop on Lazada - because I don't have a business permit to submit.
I have a business permit for my sari-sari store, but I don't think I can use that for my online shop...)
But anyway, I learned that even though Lazada may be safer than Shoppee, some scammers can still somehow get through... or at least 'legit' sellers (meaning they have the requirements, yes) but are sadly unreliable or unprofessional...
Ultimately, the customer must be very careful and meticulous.

I like to shop dry groceries, small electric appliances, and books from online shopping platforms. But to shop for clothes and accessories, it's best to go to the actual shop and try on. Surprisingly, groceries here have no problems, when ordered online. Of course i don't order vegetables and fruits, only rice, lentils, spices, etc.
