My immediate family and mom's siblings decided to set the Ilocano practice 'golgol.' It is not like doing 'Google' here, myLotters. Let me explain this cultural practice. 'Golgol' is a local Ilocano traditional way of cleansing oneself after the death of a family member by taking a bath in running or flowing water, such as river, beach, etc. Ideally, it should be done right after the burial of the dead one. I just want to share it beside of being out my city again after more than two years due to this pandemic. The main purpose is to cut the possible death of other family members.
Do you have any rituals like this?
