The wrath

Been inactive for days. The signal was so intermitent because of the heavy rains. The rain was so disastrous, it caused flooding and landslides in nearby towns. I am so depressed on what is happening. In a nearby town there is a whole barangay that was buried on mud slide. There are hundreds who are still missing up to this time. The rain hadn't stopped yet and the flood does not seem to subside. There is so much grief and pain, as I see those call for for help in my Facebook. It is sad it, it is heartbreaking. Landslides and flooding are happening left and right on my province. I messaged my colleagues who live on those heavily affected areas. They are okay, their immediate family are okay, but their community, their neighbors are not. There is a boy who was dugged out from the mud slide and good thing he was alive, despite of the heavy bruises and wounds but the sad part is his whole family are gone. I have teacher friend who reached out this morning, as her students were mostly missing. A few survived and most of them were now orphaned. My heart crumpled. I pity them, what future holds them. They've got no family, no place to return to, as the whole place were covered with mud. This friend of mine organized a drive. I sent my savings to help buy underwears, hygiene kits and first aid kits. There are used clothings too that were sent. It is really heavy right now, I am praying too hard that may this things pass right away. Rescue teams are sent since yesterday, but operations now are more on retrieval as there are nil chances of life because of the heavy rains still. Oh Lord, please send your angels.
