Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing good too. Today, 18th April is celebrated every year as "World Heritage Day".
The International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) in 1982 suggested that 18th April should be celebrated every year as " World Heritage Day".
This day aims at educating about the diversity of the world's heritage sites and the efforts essential in protecting and conserving them.
This day is celebrated with an aim to boost local communities and people to know the importance of cultural heritage in their lives.
The cultural world heritage sites in India include the Taj Mahal, Hampi, Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Sun Temple, Sanchi, Ran ki Vav, Hill Forts of Rajasthan and the list goes on.
The natural heritage sites includes the Western Ghats, Great Himalayan National Park, Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary, Sundarban National Park, Nanda Devi and Walley of Flowers National Park and more.
Let me know where you stay what are the heritage sites of your area or region. Let's all try to preserve our heritage by not making it dirty but keeping it hygienic and beautiful as it is.

This sounds like a great idea. We have lots of places, like Dr Johnson's birth place, the cathedral and stuff.
