Sometimes, my cats amaze me.

Chilly can get excited about his food. So much so that his bowl lands on the floor, sometimes with food. Today happened to be one of those days. The bowl must've landed upside down before flipping over. Now what amazed me, Chilly decided to eat the food off the floor.

of course if the cat is hungry it will eat wherever or whatever it gets. I tell my daughter that all the time when she worries the cat is holding out for something better.

@kaylachan Maybe I just never spoiled my cats years ago when I had them. I never had that happen.

Not all cats will. Some cats will walk away if their food touches the floor.

I lost count. I feed him once in the morning, and he has dry food to nibble on throughout the day. He just gets super excited about his morning meal, that he inhales it. He'll go back to it two or three times, because he has to remember to breathe.

Cats will amaze us human beings with their behavior like Burt and Bond sleeping on my bed during daytime hours on a warm day with the fan on them giving them cool air.

Mine do too, but I don't keep the bowls on the floor. Chilly just gets excited about his food.

Cats don't care. They ate where ever they could get food, be it in a clean bowl or off the sandy desert. Food was the important part...

Oh, yes remember those exciting moment back in Latvia with my Sid, He always had something in mind and wanted food now and right away so he could get back outside, There were wonderful moments when he could not figure out from which side of the bowl to each and he had large pawas and one day as he is circling the bowl he smacked the water bowl which flipped up and landed right on my foot,
