Don't you hate it...

When you have to tell someone some bad news? So, for almost 2 months I've been meaning to call the nurse that used to take care of Viv. Not to tell her about Viv's death, I half thought someone would tell her, but to offer her the clips that Viv had for her dialysis port. However, nobody had told her... so I had to do it. I did say that I was wondering how I might arrange to be a back up for people when they needed it. Like... what if I hadn't had my back up? She said that she would talk to one of the other ladies because they had times when they needed someone who could do it. I hope I haven't forgotten in the last 6 months... So, what do you hate to do? and why?

It's nice of you to offer your services. I hate to take showers. To me, it's too much like standing out in a cold, rainy, windy day.

I'm not that fond of them either. In the winter, and remember, I'm in TEXAS! I get the room really warmed up. This year we also warmed up the hallway. Made the showers nicer...

I really do hate telling people bad news. It's never a pleasant thing to do.

Yeah, I knew that a friend had gone to a convention where this person was, but I kind of suspected she wasn't going to tell people to bring down the mood of the con.

@Matamu I had to tell this friend when she asked after her. It is her, the friend's, birthday.

Yeah who wants to be the one to bear bad news. That's not easy.

But I guess after marrying her, it has become part of the "job" so to speak.
