Yarn shopping again

I just purchased some yarns from an online shop. I just found some crochet along events from Instagram lately. I am happy to join two events that I am going to crochet some dolls.
I have only knitted a few dolls for my children, and crocheted some tiny and simple dolls. I am planning to make a few dolls for my children, that's why I needed to get some new yarns, especially the skin color. Thankfully the yarns arrived today, and I just started to crochet my first doll for the event.
It used to be quite inconvenient to get yarns when I first started to knit about 10 years ago. The yarns were very pricey and not much choices. I got acrylic yarn as it was the cheapest. I am glad there are many online stores selling yarns at a more affordable price now. I just started to shop more online these two years, besides shopping for books and homeschooling resources.

Your children must enjoy your dolls. My Mother's friend at church, ages ago gave me a yarn doll and I treasured it. I've just donated it this year to the thrift store to let others enjoy it. Good luck with your classes and demos!

Thankfully, my children still always play with the dolls, at least the younger two.
I wonder if the children nowadays enjoy these yarn dolls and toys. I made a bunny in basket for a birthday girl a few years ago. I thought she would like it as my children liked the bunny very much. She didn't seem happy and just put it aside. I used to think of making some crocheted toys for other children as well. But perhaps kids nowadays have too many fancy toys and might not enjoy these simple toys. This thought always stops me from crocheting for others now.

I often buy stuffs online since there are more choices and usually the price is better. Especially today I don't really want to go out to go shopping. I think you will crochet more toys as you bought so many yarns. My mom hasn't asked me to buy yarns for her and I guess probably lately she is out of inspiration to crochet

You can suggest your mom to go to Instagram, then she might be very busy after that. That's where I am now. 
I have been trying not to access social media platform (mainly Facebook) as sometimes I have spent too much time reading those information, but now I fall into Instagram for crocheting stuff.
I think it's even much easier for you to buy things online in China. I used to buy yarns from TaoBao, though it was not so convenient for me. Some of my friends still purchase from TaoBao as they said it's still much cheaper to get from TaoBao, even including shipping cost.

@kaka135 If I post my mom's crochet toys all online, it is like I am using her talent to be famous Or I am just a PR for her
By the way, I also buy various kinds of things from Taobao because there are many choices and usually the price is nice. Of course I will avoid very low price product as it won't be good. I like reasonable price.
