Jack Fruits

Though late we will soon harvest loads of jack fruits. The only issue is that since it has been raining at odd times - last night we had a down pour accompanied by thunder and lightning not sure if these will be sweet.
Jack fruits can be cooked when they are raw and when ripe there are many snacks that are made from this fruit. I also heard ice cream is made too
There is also the problem of selling them We normally distribute a few to the neighbours and have so far succeeded in selling the remaining lot Not sure if we will have anyone interested this year
Keeping my fingers crossed.

This was my favorite fruit before, because of an illness, now I can't eat it anymore

This is a favorite of mine. Used to rent a house where there is a jackfruit tree and I remember the owner of the house giving me this fruit.

We preserve them for future use Just clean the stuff, make packets and put them in the deep freeze.
