Olivia Hamilton is married to the love of her life, Dean, a charismatic pilot who flies private jets for the rich and famous. But when he vanishes over the Bermuda Triangle, Olivia's idyllic existence unravels. After years of waiting, Olivia must eventually let go of the fragile hope that her beloved husband might still be alive. Melanie Brown is a particle physicist who spends late nights studying the Bermuda Triangle. But her research interests falter when her mother dies in a tragic accident. Struggling to reboot her life and career, Melanie begins a forbidden love affair with her therapist. When a shocking discovery shows Olivia's and Melanie's paths are intertwined, it casts Dean's disappearance in a new light. The two women's strange connection threatens to unlock secrets that will change everything Olivia thought she knew about her marriage, her husband, and most importantly, herself. ~~~~ This story takes place from 1996 through 2012. The author goes back and forth in the years and with different POVs. It was not confusing at all. I found it intriguing and was trying to guess what was going to happen. I was so wrong. Julianne MacLean writes this story beautifully. It flows well. The reader is never bored. I can't say much more without giving away the story. Though the story initially focuses on Olivia, Dean and Melanie, as the years go by new characters are introduced as people grow and age. Dean disappears and Olivia has trouble moving on. But eventually one must move on, mustn't they? You have to read this story to find out. It's romance, it's drama, it's mystery, it's suspense, it's intrigue, it's family, it's about love and forgiveness and moving forward. An excellent read. The author sent me the ARC. The book is scheduled to be released June 14, 2022. Julianne MacLean has written a LOT of books. This is the first I have heard of her. I am looking forward to reading more of her books.

It doesn't come out until June 14 so you can't find it now. I read an uncorrected ARC, which from what I could see only had 2 errors.

It has a little bit of everything in it. I couldn't even tell you the genre. I think it's categorized as women's fiction. She has literally written tons of other books and I have never heard of her before. It wasn't until after I posted my review on Instagram that I learned that she is also Canadian.
