Yesterday on 1st May the first norwester came in West Bengal.

In Kolkata the first norwester or Kalbaisakhi came and struck on 1st May 2022. Every one is relieved with heavy storm and rain. Before the norwester temperature went up to 38 degree celsius. Presently it is 33 degree celsius. The rain had been successful to reduce temperature by 5 degrees. Due to the storm some crops are damaged but it is natural in this time of the year to have a norwester.

yes Jojo but a lot of people are getting due to sudden change of temperature. 3 days back it was 39 degree. Now it is 30 degree celsius

@Sojourn thanks Jojo it was printing error catching viral fever. children are affected by bacteria and virus due to temperature fluctuation.

Rains sound like heavenly!
We are still around 41 to 43 C of max with some weather stations within Delhi recorded a max of 46 C !!
But you mentioned Northwester and not Monsoons which confused me !!
