I realized that it's been about 6 months since the news about covid 19 has reduced. In many places around the world people can walk in public places without wearing a mask. A point that I cannot fail to mention is that a few days ago I learned that there is already a new variant in China.
Do you know anything about this subject?

I knew lockdowns became fashionable again in China, I didn't know it was due to a new variant.
However, I'm pretty sure we're going to have new cases and the need for preventive measures to come back this fall. It's funny how governments prefer giving a vaccine that offers no immunization to healthy kids instead of investing in healthcare, like building more ICUs.

@choijungeun We should pay attention to what happens in China because that could as well be our future in the West. After all, what you describe is very close to what happens during war.
Thanks for sharing this info and I'm glad you didn't experience what the people of Shanghai went through. I guess all you can do is to live as far as possible from the cities and try to save enough money to escape, but even sharing what's going on in your country, like you did now, is something that helps.
I'm also glad you still have faith in God.

I didn't know any variant,i know Omicron comes to here.Now China has gone crazy,one person got Covid-19,the whole city will go to Silence Mode.What's Silence Mode?It's a concentration Camp.You can't go out,you can't buy anything.Everything in your life,Government will plan for you.If you don't like it or dare to disobey it,you'll be arrested.
This pandemic never lets CCP learn how to protect their people and respect the human rights.They just used it as an excuse to build a supreme Totalitarian Society.So they can do anything they want.They'll totally be the God of China.
I don't know what i should do.I'm scared very much.I just wish God can help Chinese people.CCP has turned China into a 1984-like hell.Please Help Chinese people,My Merficul God.If you don't want to help,please let me die peacefully as soon as possible.That's my only requirement

In Israel the mask mandate has ended. There are a few people who are still wearing masks, but for the most part, I don't wear one except when I go to the clinic or a hospital to visit someone. We will see if it gets to a point that we will have to wear them and have lockdowns. The current government wants businesses to work as usual so that they can collect the VAT taxes when people buy stuff.
