A strange story of police officers arresting a goat in an apartment complex in Florida

I know if I am police officer that is employed by the Tallahassee Police Department and I was assigned to "arrest" a goat that was seen running loose in an apartment complex in Tallahassee over two weeks ago, I would be scared trying to "arrest" the goat for most likely running loose in public property.
The way that the goat was "arrested" by a few Tallahassee police officers was that the goat was cornered in a hallway when the goat must have been tired from running around the apartment complex and was calm when the goat was arrested.
The police in Tallahassee is that many of their police officers have experience dealing with the occasional arrest of stray livestock.
I am sure that the goat will be released by the police into his area of his home since the goat did not commit any criminal act outside of running around in an apartment complex.

It is kind of odd how the goat managed to enter the apartment complex since I have heard of gator sightings but never goats.

@Deepizzaguy I guess we’ll never know how the goat got there.

I have seldom heard of goat stories coming from Florida since it is gator county.

I am glad they were gentle with the goat, Had it been me living there I would have taken the goat into my apartment and would be making goat cheese

I agree with you on how you would deal with a goat.

The same here that the goat was released after being taken in by the police.
