I am really not thinking of dinner yet, but the roommates want to prepare meatloaf for dinner tonight. I really don't like meatloaf. I have not eaten meatloaf in over 10 years. What should I do? Fend for myself? I would like a lunch meat sandwich instead.

Yes, I am preparing my own dinner. There is no need to buy some dinner when I have a pantry full of food.
