Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte are now in the frontrunner / myLot

As of 12:28pm of 10th of May 2022, Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte are now in the frontrunner with their respective positions. Although COMELEC (Commission on Election) disposed the case against Bongbong Marcos earlier. However, there's questions in mind from majority. What if Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte are already in their positions as President and Vice President respectively and Marcos disqualified from his position as President? What will happen to Duterte? Is she became the new President?

We just got some news of few unfortunate incidences of violence during election in Phillipines. Why would Marcos be disqualified? What's the case against him? He is the son of some dictator earlier in your country as I came to know from the news. I hope that he is good for the country.

There's some opposition groups filed cases against Bongbong Marcos for disqualification for different reasons. If I am not mistaken 3 cases.

There are many allegations against him that he is not fit to run since he has had a pending tax case unpaid for the past years. He was the son of the late Dictator Ferdinand Marcos that was deposed by a peaceful revolution after 2 decades of reign. After 3 decades he was allowed to run for the presidency again which he just won right now.

@luisga814 Oh! I see. Do those cases have some real basis or they are just some political conspiracy against him? Seems like he is a clear cut winner with a landslide victory.
