does happily ever after exist?

most of the fairytales we come across ends on the note "they lived happily ever after". but is it really the case?. i have been married for almost three years and when i married him i thought i was set for my happily ever after. But right now if one word could express my married life it would be' rollercoaster'. there were instances when we both thought this wouldn't move forward. in fact now i think my life started when i married him, when i thought it was the happy ending, it really began. This made me question if happily ever after does exist. And who knows maybe cindrella wasn't happy and had already divorced her prince charming.
