Work today, then I came home from work and walked Angel, took a bill to the mailbox and got my mail--which was an ad for a tree-trimming service, which I threw away. When I came home, I took pies to the neighbors--when we have Wednesday night Bible study, there's one lady who often can't be there, but she always brings at least two pies and/or cakes. Often they don't get touched, so I "rescue" them before the pastor's wife tosses them in the garbage (which I don't know why she does--they're right from the store and still have the plastic coverings on them and are perfectly good). The problem is, I'm one person and I'm fat enough and really didn't need two pies to eat on my own--so the neighbor across the way got the pumpkin one and a neighbor who lives behind me got the sweet potato one. That's some sweets that won't go to my hips anyway (I would rather have chocolate or lemon merengue pie anyway). I'm kind of worn from the walking I did yesterday, but I still want to do at least one of the chores on my list before I sink into a chair for the last time this evening (I scribbled a list of things that need doing around here on the back of a used envelope--see photo). So, I'm going to do one of those things this afternoon, and then more of the rest tomorrow--actually, there's another thing I can do on the list fairly quickly--that I can do before I quit. So, I'm off to do those things. Hope that your day/evening/etc. has gone well in your part of myLot land !
