Top 10 Adam Sandler Movies: Numero Uno

I know that a lot of people don't like Adam Sandler, but I am not one of those people. I have always liked Adam Sandler. I like just about every Adam Sandler movie I have ever seen. I am not a huge fan of Uncut Gems, but it still wasn't horrible. Anyway, because he has such a vast collection of movies that he has been in I thought that I would share with you all what I think his top ten movies are, or my personal top ten Adam Sandler movies if you will. Before I get started even though this is a top ten list, I will not be ranking these top ten movies. So don't really pay attention to what order they are in. And without further ado, here is number one! GROWN UPS! I am sure that many of you have seen this. It was fairly popular for awhile. It stars Adam Sandler, along with Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schnieder. If you are familiar with Sandler movies, then you know that this group of friends is in a lot of movies together. There is no doubt that their chemistry is good, they play off each other very well. They have all been friends forever and you can tell when you watch them act together. It really makes you wonder what they would be like if Chris Farley was still around. Anyway, Grown Ups revolves around a group of friends that grew up together and then when they became adults spread out across the county. The basketball that coached them when they were growing up dies and it causes all of them to go back to the town they grew up in. In true Adam Sandler fashion, it deals with death in a fairly silly and comedic way. Even with all the gags, stupid jokes, and just played-out comedy, it is still funny. They do touch on fairly sensitive subject matters such as death and trying to be as good as friends and stuff but in a funny way. I love this group of friends, and this is one of my favorite comedy movies period. There is a second one, which is not nearly as good, but still funny. If you haven't seen it, you should watch it. I have linked the IMDB page to this movie, in case you want to read a better summary of the movie. It's after one am, and I got up around 4, so my brain is mushy, weed-infused, and rum-soaked.
Grown Ups: Directed by Dennis Dugan. With Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade. After their high school basketball coach passes away, five good friends and former teammates reunite for a Fourth of July holiday weekend.

I liked this movie. I can watch it again. I won't say that I am a huge fan of Adam Sandler. But I enjoy his movies as they are all light comedy kinds and I enjoy that kind of movies. He is good as comedian.
