This story that comes from Minnesota is kind of interesting a married couple who played the Mega Millions scratch off lottery tickets since their first date in April 17, 1990 when the Minnesota Lottery started to sell scratch off lottery tickets.
The name of the lottery winners is being kept secret for the reasons that have been explained here before like strangers coming up to them asking them for money claiming to be down of their luck or collect some easy money.
Another reason is that the state of Minnesota has a law that allows lottery winners not to reveal their names to the public.
What is interesting is that the couple who played the same Mega Millions number for a period of around 32 years before winning the grand prize of $66.9 million dollars before they will have to pay their fair share of taxes to both the Federal and State government is that the couple only gained back some of the money they spent buying the lottery tickets as well as others.
However the couple did have good luck in winning the huge prize from Mega Millions after they bought the winning lottery ticket from the Holiday Stationstores in Ramsey late last month.
The couple will be spending their money to travel, buy an auto and buy a new home after they had a talk with a lawyer, an accountant and a financial advisor. They also plan to retire from their jobs soon.

Giving out your name in public these days is very dangerous.

Wow! I've been playing the same numbers since 1989...just a year earlier. Maybe my time will come soon! Congratulations to the couple.
