Its the Eurovision Song Contest this weekend and the Ukraine are hot favorites at 4/5 The song contest is infamously camp, funny and political and not much of a song contest. The U.K pushing Brexit through in 2020 saw the UK get zero points from the combined panel and public vote. The UK has not done well in it for decades now. We tend not to take it too seriously, mainly because if you win it you have to host it, not cheap. Russia was kicked out for obvious reasons and the Ukraine should win for the same reasons. The U.Ks song, 'Spaceman', is actually highly fancied and second favorite with the bookies at 7/1 but Europe will never forgive us for Brexit and it will mid table. I'm sure Putin will be watching and will be taking notes on who votes for the Ukraine and whether they will have their gas still flowing the next day. If you think countries will choke on voting for Russia for that reason then it could let in Sweden, Italy or Spain to win, big hitters when it comes to countries trying to win it over the years.
