I needed to get out of the apartment, and I needed the exercise. I went to my mailbox and got the mail, such as it was, and then I went to the back to the trail by the creek where Angel and I would walk. Instead of turning left to the front of the apartment complex, I went right to a main street. Across the street and on the corner of it and another street was the home of a dog that liked Angel, and his dad had given me several bones for Angel. I thought he'd want to know about her. I went to the door, and the dog, who seems to like me, too--went nuts. The man wasn't home, but his mother said she would tell him. She had met Angel too. Now I'm home and sitting like a lump again.
