It got pretty bad reviews. I thought it was a DC film at first because it looked horror-ish. It didn't feel like a Marvel movie, but that's okay.
It was quite enjoyable, a bit predictable, but still a fun watch. 
Hopefully it gets a second film

No, I have not. I am not into DC and Marvel movies. But I am glad you enjoyed the film despite the plot's predictability.
