I just saw the season-47 finale of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE ... Kate McKinnon signed off---her 'violated by aliens'-character climbing on board the spacecraft (in order to save the planet from destruction ... or else just to stop them from probing any more innocents) and saying through tear-stained eyes at the close of her last "cold open" (as a cast-member), "Thanks for letting me stay awhile. Live from New York, it's Saturday night," Aidy Bryant & Pete Davidson signed off with segments on WEEKEND UPDATE---Aidy in a 'Which Trends are In or Out"-gag she does with Bowen Yang (who is staying another season or two, I hope), Pete with a little commentary on what a wonderful gift-from-Lorne it was to be accepted on the show (can you believe it's been 8 years?) And Kyle Mooney ... was he in this episode?
