Ever feel this way? Alienated from everyone else? I would say "mainstream", but I don't know what that is? Having a car and children? Listening to Top 40? Playing with a phone?
I've always felt this way, but I thought things would change "when I get big". But actually, it was the opposite. 10-yr olds haven't done many things one does in the next decade, so there's more commonality.

Absolutely, yes! I'm going to feel that way when my step-dad's sister and brother in law come visiting this afternoon! Have I ever mentioned that they INVITED THEMSELVES?!
