Outside my door this morning

When I left to catch the bus this morning, there were flowers to the side of my door.
Sure enough, they were condolences for my loss of Angel from the neighbor upstairs and her puppy. 
I hope that I can keep them alive, as it's a live plant, not just flowers in water.
