Friends forever?

After labelling ourselves friends forever we all go separate ways, miles away from each other. Thinking it would always remain like that. At first you call them occasionally, then slowly it turns to texting them occasionally, then over the time it becomes wishing them birthdays. And then you realise you don’t even remember their birthdays. Your wishes are gone, you are even afraid of forgetting their names along with the memories. Years later, you initiate a call and you catch up with many things. And it goes back to nothing again. But you have salvaged your memories and you are happy. I believe that’s the kind of forever I have with most of my friends.

well I didnt like anyone enough for that lol, or should I say they didnt like me so I learnt not to get close to anyone

I had the same experience with my BFF in college. We met again through Facebook and we can't help but reminisce about the old days. We laughed a lot then.
Nowadays, we went back to being busy with our own personal lives again and have been calling each other less frequently. I guess that's life. Sometimes, you remember and sometimes you forget. But it's great to walk down the road of memory lane with friends when we were once young and carefree.

yeah that's true after being separated since high school, and they went to college I feel like i have fewer friends starting from more than 30 friends now the closest is only 4-7.
Sad? Yes
but when we get back together there will be a lot of funny stories
