Shillong is the capital city of state of Meghalaya. Meghalaya in Indian language means the abode of clouds. There is a Lady Hydari Park created after the name of the wife of the Leightenant officer over there. In the park there are water bodies as well as many plantations which also include bamboo plantations. In some of the cases the stems of the plants are coloured also.
