Solomon was the wisest
Man who ever lived; and
That was because
Solomon asked God for wisdom, not
The vast riches or fame
That others may have
Asked for, but because
The king asked for wisdom,
The Lord blessed him with riches as well.

I do remember during a Bible study that when asking God for help, ask for wisdom and not material items.
