Had an interesting experience this afternoon. / myLot

I had left my house a little early, hoping to beat the rain and the Florida heat. While this didn't go over as I had hoped, I saw a ar parked on our street near my house. Turned out to be a reporter for Channel nine doing a story on a stabbing that happened nearby. The victim is going to be fine, but it's insane things like that can happen. I can't say I'm surprised, because we have druggies nearby it's kind of a way of life here.

Kind of scary when it happens near you, I have not walked around in a long time but a good deal of the streets around where we live are empty so you could walk to a store and not see people until you get into the store but these days walking empty streets kind of spooks me,

Yeah. I know. It's quiet right here, too. The stabbing happened a couple days ago, and the suspect was caught on my street. I heard dogs barking that night, but didn't think much about it.
