God Treasures Children

One of my favorite Bible verses is Matthew 18:6. It reveals to us how much God loves children. He is serious about us protecting, loving, teaching, and nurturing them. I have had the privilege of working with children my whole life. I pray, daily, for wisdom and understanding so that I can help them learn academically and spiritually. I want them to know how much God loves them and that He created them for a unique purpose. I believe that as we guide them to understand that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and as we help them to find the purpose for which God created them, we will help to end so much confusion and uncertainty for them. Teachers, ministers, and especially parents, are going to have to answer to God for how they interact with these precious little ones. I want God to be able to look at me and say, "well-done".
