This past weekend, my brother brought over boxes from the house that a weekend or so before I had put things in that I wanted to keep/sell.
This evening I went through the first box. Yeah, things have been in storage, so they're dusty.
Photos 1a and 1b are of a doll Mom had in her collection and its box. I don't ever remember seeing it displayed.
Photo two is of two dolls made from a mold that Mom made in her doll class. Both are named for my grandmother (Mom's Mom)--the one in green is "Nancy" the name my grandmother went by, and the other is "Flo" -- my grandmother's real name was "Florence Annie". Grandma or someone told me that my great grandfather used to call Grandma "Nana" and somehow that morphed into "Nancy". More than likely these dolls will stay here.
Photo 3--well, I think these two are meant to be Cracker Jack sailor dolls. I need to look them up. They're a bit beaten up, and maybe a tad creepy, but someone might be interested in them. The box they are lying on is a case in which there's a doll that I think my Mom used to play with--that came out before Barbie. The box she's in isn't really for her. She has two dresses with her--one of which Grandma made to match a sweater she'd made for me.
So, I'll be looking things up and dusting things off and taking pictures the next few days as I can.

Very nice dolls. Your mom immortalize her mom's name by naming the dolls after your grandma's names

Yes, and she made the molds and put her initials on the back of the doll's heads, too.

Sounds like a lot of fun. At least you're getting it done and you'll figure out something with it.

I hope that someone will be interested in some of it.
