Trying to beat the heat.

And, still have a life outside my house. This time of year it feels like a huge balancing act. One I am not a huge fan of every year. It's days like this that make me miss having a pool, and to think tomorrow is slated to be hotter. I'm up two hours early, hoping to get out a little sooner, too. I think I'm finally getting used to the new wheelchair we bought.

I know what you mean. So humid out today I can hardly breathe.

I got a nice breaze starting out and it felt kind of nice. But going up hill is where it's the worst and I come home soaked in sweat.

Heat can be annoying. North India is facing a horrible heat right now and mercury is soaring through the sky. Thankfully out city due to its unique geographic location gets enough rain throughout the year and is pleasant year around. We don't get extreme temperatures. You can plan to stay indoors in Air conditioning to beat the heat.

I could, but I also don't want to hide indoors all summer, either.

@kaylachan Yes, that would be boring. Many people want to go out in summer as they would have been indoors during the long winter.

Do you have a pool in your apartment complex? Not only would you beat the heat, it would be good therapy for you.

Do you have air conditioning at all Kayla? I know the heat is terrible. This weekend here is 100 each day. And no air to use here. I was just trying to find a cooling station to go to but no dice.

I do. It's when I need to go out, I don't always. And going up hill in a wheelchair is a pain. Doing it when it's hot is less so.

@RebeccasFarm Yeah. You want to avoid the worst of the heat, but being cooped up all the time isn't healthy either.

We are right here with you in humidity in Tokyo. I don't know if the official rainy season has begun but it is the official "your laundry is never truly dry" season.

Yeah. I have heard that Japan gets insanely humid in the summers.

@kaylachan Yep, from now until November or so. Unless you live in Kyushu on the little islands, where it is wet all year round.
