It's hot, myLot!

Hello again! It's 3:27 by my computer clock, and I am a bit later than usual. My boss told me that her daughter's graduating class was having a parade, a tradition they started when COVID first kicked up and they couldn't have a graduation ceremony. I said I'd keep an eye out. As I was walking home (and it is hot out there) I saw a lady sitting in a shady spot on the sidewalk, so I said hello. She said she was waiting for the parade my boss had mentioned to start, as her great-niece was in the graduating class. So I chatted with her a bit and stayed and watched. Unfortunately I didn't get any really good pictures (ie: of the really nice cars), but I like to support my alma mater. After I left, a man a few houses down asked if I always walked. Numerous people have told me that they see me walking and I said I did. We chatted a bit, too, and then he had to go somewhere and I headed home. It is warm out there to say the least. After I post this, I'm heading out to get the mail, and then home to do Bible study and otherwise stay in. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
