i've just been to my parents house to help them pack their belongings in preparation for their transfer tomorrow. i was there real early today and we finished just an hour ago. whew! didn't know that my mom kept a lot of things! even the can from MY baby formula. mine! imagine that! that's about 39 yrs. old already! and she has one cabinet full of tupperware! all unused! but, she also has this pretty dinner sets and tea sets which were sold in the 1960s so they're maybe a little antique by today's standards. but they're beautiful! unlike what's sold nowadays. and i begged her to give me a couple of sets to keep. thankfully, she willingly let go. now, i'm a proud owner of a complete set of dinnerware! and i paln to pass this on to my daughter when she's grown. maybe, i could start a family traition this way, right? this could serve as our family heirloom.
