Toefl is the one I am going to take soon as soon as I am confident enough. Right now, I am still trying to improve more my English skills. It is not easy. It takes a lot of hard work and perseverance and a lot of practice. I am improving though since I started using this site. Good luck on your upcoming GRE test next year.!

Well its just an english proficiency test and dont worry about it. You have one year with you and i can say that there are lot of websites which can give you sample tests. You can solve one test per week and keep a record how much you are scroing. By the time you are going to give TOEFL you will be well prepared. Also look for the universities and the toefl score needed there. it varies from uni to uni so if u get a low score dont be disheartened. Watch lot of english movies, serials etc so that you get their accent and remember one thing that confidence is the key! Cheers, Tutul

My suggestion is, if you have studied in english medium, you should give not more than 5 days for TOEFL, and not more than one and a half month for GRE. Thats all it takes. Mugging up words for more than that time will drive you crazy so make sure you dont stretch it. You dont need to join any classes, they dont really help. And you can visit my blog for a small course in GRE words!! (www.concatenatewith.blogspot.com)
