I wanted to become a novel author someday

After reading the discussion of @patgalca, it comes to the point that my dream to become an English novel author is going to relive again. I do have some books published at Kindle Direct Publishing distributed at Amazon. However, those are not novels. It's only a sort of literary non-fiction books. Somewhat a story but not considered as a novel.
Here in the Philippines, we do have publishers who published novels but not written in English. It's written in Filipino language. My dream is to become someday to have an English novel published that soon to become hooked to be a screenplay such as Dan Brown, JK Rowling, etc. Lol. Too much dream.
My problem right now is I don't know if those literary agents in America or Canada or UK will accept English novel manuscripts from an author like me (from the Philippines)?

I think you can submit to US publishers or agents. Good luck!

I saw the question asked on one of the agent websites whether the author had to live in the same city as the agent. The answer is no. You can be anywhere in the world. There is also the option of self-publishing. I thought Amazon had a publishing department. Our writing group published our book through Amazon.
Good luck!

Thanks for the information. I'll think for a topic and hoping to draft it soon.
