Hello myLotters! I guess I'm feeling inspired to post because I just got paid LOL. Seriously though I just came from work and had to let off steam. It's so triggering for me there. But I just finished reading the book Verity and liked it. 4 out of 5 stars. I read it in 3 days. This will be my last book read for the year and I would have reached my goal of reading 5 books in a year. Maybe I iwill read Strange the Dreamer. Which gave me an idea that for next year I will make the books I read varied. 1 classic, 1 romance, 1 mystery, 1 self help and maybe a fantasy.

Reading books is really your hobby... The books that I usually read then was from Michael Crichton when I still have time ..

Might I suggest some 'real-life' political thrillers from Woodward and/or Bernstein? They were on LATE SHOW with Stephen Colbert last night (but I stopped watching just as he introduced them).

That would be scary if it is based on real life. But thank you, sure are interesting.

@yoalldudes I THINK they were the two journalists who 'broke the news' on "Watergate" (the big scandal that made Richard Nixon have to resign from the Presidency back in the 1960's or '70s ... it was before I was born, but it was such a big deal that 'all the big political scandals since then' have been called 'something'-Gate).

I think I would just follow my mood when choosing a genre, but I like your idea too.

I'm glad you liked my idea. I already have a TBR for next year. I switched self help with contemporary though. To be specific, I plan to read Loveless.

Great that you made your reading goal. Do you read on Kindle or do you prefer paper and ink books?
