The great work of Duterte

Philippines

The outgoing President of the Philippines DUTERTE. This guy is infamous for saying bad words. and his Drug war campaign. And not so smart guy. He also worsens the debt of the Philippines. By asking China for loans to finance his Build Build project in the Philippines. But aside from his not-so-smart attitude and work. One thing I noticed he used the loan money to augment the Philippines Army and Navy. He purchased warships, gunships, warplanes, submarines, tanks, guns, etc... I think he realized how weak the Philippines is, against the war-monger China. Hence, the Philippines is now the number one in South East Asia by having more numbers of navy warships. So what did you noticed about Duterte terms?

Interesting, but Navy is still a force but not quite like it used to be. It may be smart considering you are a island, Technology is kind of doing them in from what I have seen. You still need them for transportation and for jets than can take off and can refuel them from there, but our Navy is barely in any wars like it used to be which may be a good thing but also means they have to stay way far away so they do not get sunk because thats a lot of equipment and troops that can be lost if they get sunk. In your guys case, Air force and Navy make sense to be your top military forces. Here we use mostly Land and Air but is still traveled by the sea in some cases. Its much easier for them just to fly everything in now for the land troops, Its rather easy to sink a ship these days unless really far at sea where no can detect them.

Those navy warships will not deter China. Unless our country has nuclear bombs to counter China. And will make them think a lot before bullying small countries like the Philippines.

Well he may not be too eloquent and smart but he is practical. I condone some of his actions but I am thankful for the now 10 year validity of the passport.

Speaking of passport I have it too. Even though I'm not heading outside the country. I use it as an alternative to an ID. Anyways I already applied for National ID. Hoping it will be delivered soon.
