In Marines we deployed to Gladstone, Australia. My Deployment Staff Sergeant hooked me up. You get to go, I was like what? This guy hates me some ulterior motive. Get me out of his hair so to speak or a price is going to paid later. I guess was hair thing because he never made me pay a price. Anyway, a outback zoo where you could actually interact with all of Australia's animals. They had a one class about Koala's. The rest was go see for your self but be respectful. I walked up to two animals. A kangaroo family and they being so pleasant to one an other making sure each other is fed, while all of us dumb military Americans there. They seemed so friendly how they treated each other. I go I am going to introduce myself. That dude is their leader and know these guys kind of tame and relaxed compared to wild I am no dummy. I knew it was not going to be so zen, but kind of wanted my friends to see and many Marines are jerks to everyone but they all laid off and let me do it probably because they wanted me dead. haha. Nah we all got a kick when I tried to pat him on his back, just to say hi. Just slowly raises up and twist his body around and this dude had to be 6 foot but I remember 7 foot and towered above us just pure muscle. I was like you win homie, we just wanted to say hi go back to your family. Kind of like this. Everyone in Marines knew they are legendary boxers.

It was nice how lovely the kangaroos were being with each other, but maybe you shouldn't try to touch them because they're not like cats and dogs. They would just take it as a threat.

The instructors said you can try but if they give warning you better move away and leave them alone and we and I did.

@crossbones27 Good thing you did. You don't want to end up with kangaroo feet in your face!
