But, it's all not bad news.
Last night, George came to the realization our cat, Chinnia, is really sick, and may not recover. On the plus side, we know what's wrong. On the other... one diagnosis is treatable while the other is not.
We learned she has hyperthyroidism and early stage kidney failure. We'll be starting her on kidney food. But, we didn't get the dreaded quality of life speech.

Lateky we lost Phuti, our charming and smart cat. She last ran over by unknown speeding motorized tricycle across the street.

@Nakitakona I am sure you do, because pets are like family to a lot of people.

I remember you telling me about that, and the conversations we've had about it. I went through the kidney failure with Precious, and I am not surprised to be going through it again. It's just the hyperthyroidism isn't going to be easy to treat. Chinnia doesn't like pills, so there's a cream. The kidney food, will be the easy part.

@kaylachan They we’re more concerned about her kidney disease. The baby food seems to be working hopefully.

@CarolDM I think that's because in your case, her failure was so advanced. Chinnia seems to be at the beginning stages, but hyperthyroidism can mask how serious the kidney failure is, so that's why we'll be bringing her back in three weeks to get another blood draw.
