Thanks to the efforts of Pennington County Sheriff's Officer Linquist who answered an emergency call from a concerned citizen who was an eyewitness of a fire that happened in the Cactus Cafe And Lounge in Wall South Dakota on Monday night, one man who was trapped inside of the upper floor living area. Deputy Lindquist with the help of another man assisted him to get the man who was trapped inside of the burning cafe out of danger and into safety by pulling him through a window. Deputy Lindquist as well as the fire victim was treated by medical personnel in the area for smoke inhalation and released. Even though the cafe was burned down to the ground, no one was seriously hurt. The stores in the area where the fire took place were not damaged. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
