RIP Tony "The Goose" Siragusa

One of my favorite players when I was a kid was the Goose. He was a fun loving character off the field and one of the best players on the field. When my mother in law told me he passed yesterday, it destroyed my whole day. Even my mother who hates football knows who he is and was saddened. Tony Siragusa was 55 years old and as of right now they say that he died in his sleep yesterday morning. The prediction is a heart issue as he had mentioned in a prior interview that heart disease runs in his family. The Goose spent 12 years in the NFL and when he had left he became an analyst. His first 7 seasons was with the Indianapolis Colts. When he was with the Ravens he was a crucial part of the defense that took us to a Superbowl and a win. He will be missed by many, myself most definitely included. He was my favorite player as a kid and he will always have a special place in my heart.
