Last week my sister -in -law gave us jackfruit. mom shared and the others cooked another dish. The rest of it , she made like a banana turon. But inside is jackfruit and not banana. it was delicious when eaten. I often mistake that fruit for durian, the difference is the smell. It looks like springroll but inside is fruit and not meat. Well, it's nothing left now since it was made two days ago. I almost ran out of it since I caught mom feeding the dogs with it Have a nice day

Thank you for sharing. Turon with Jackfruit looks like it would be a tasty snack to make. Jackfruit is available here but is sometimes hard to find and expensive. I did notice that one local supermarket has it available precut, bagged, and frozen. I have been thinking about buying that instead of the entire fruit since I am the only one here and my cat won't eat fruit.

They have a jackfruit free and sometimes they give share when it started to grow a lot more @Chellezhere I never once tried to peel this fruit.

@Letranknight2015, The fruit, untouched, looks too threatening to try to peel.

I have not tried jackfruit turon. I think I will like it. Probably I will use canned jackfruit.

yeah if there's already a preserve one you can have it cook from there, of course with a wrapper @thelme55

I like to eat ripe jackfruit. It smells but it's tasty and yummy.
