A Legal-Loophole some ladies may need to use to End Their Pregnancies

I'm sure you've heard the news; The U.S. Supreme Court overturned its "Roe V Wade"-decision, setting off many "trigger-bans" that made abortion illegal in the States that have the bans. One of the arguments that Pro-Lifers have been moaning has been that "aborting the fetus is murder (and their scientists have found out that the fetus has DNA different-enough from the mother to be a 'separate person' and not 'a part of her body')." I don't agree, but going with that 'separate person'-story for the moment; if she doesn't want the baby, isn't it a trespasser? And don't many States give citizens the right to 'eliminate trespassers' in any way neccessary?---those "Stand Your Ground"-laws?

I am sure that'll open up a whole can of worms, from both a legal and medical standpoint. There's already issues as a result of the fact, that a doctor can't prove or distinguish a natural miscarriage vs one done on purpose. Because a miscarriage is considered a form of aboration. Personally, I don't understand why politics had to get involved. When a right to privacy has too many shades of gray.

@mythociate This is true, and if it should or shouldn't be protected under the constitution.

Because the very issue is 'whether abortion is "legal."'

I have my reservations and I have my thoughts about abortion but basically a woman has the right to have or not have a child but mostly what I stand for is that if she does not want children she should do everything to not get pregnant in the first place but that is just me

@Morleyhunt Thanks ma'am. Not having 'a horse in this race' (no womb, no womb-haver who's risking fertilization), I keep feeling like I can't say anything. That's why I'm irritated by people who say 'those girls should just keep their legs closed' (or whatever the euphemism for 'celebacy' would be). I mean; yeah, but ... it's like junk food; sure you shouldn't have it ALL THE TIME (or even 'every day'), but in moderation it's GOOD FOR YA, yeah?

Contraceptives fail…not a fan of abortion but I’m not going to force someone to have a baby they don’t want.

Every person has the right to do what she wants with her body. I wonder if the pro life people are willing to adopt and raise all those children in this overcrowded world.

hmmm ... might 'change those poll-numbers in a hurry' if "siding with pro-life" automatically signs you up as a foster-home!

@mythociate now that idea has merit…those poor children….unplanned and now being “hosted” by a family that didn’t think things through.

That's actually pretty smart, use their logic against them. It drives me crazy how they pass laws on that type of logic but usually what it takes to stop the madness. Its all fun and games until your mortal enemy starts living your way but with their opposite beliefs.

You don't think there's ANY excuse for it?
