Keeping Your Mind in Shape ~ Do You Make It a Point?

Typically, people deliberately, make it a point to physically exercise. However, do you often make it a routine to exercise your mind? Play word games, do quizzes, crossword puzzles, read a good book, or other mind-stimulating activities on a regular basis? Sure, we may do those things from time to time, but, do you have those activities on your daily to-do list, as you would a bike ride or a morning jog?

Often exercising one's mind is good advice, and I thought I could try it for a while.

i often cycle and run in the morning and evening, for word games I can't remember the last time I played it because it's been quite a while

I don't do it routinely. If you are not busy, maybe you can make it routine activities.

Yes because I am in a nursing home. I read , do word searches , write letters. Text, have to keep the mind sharp.

Agree. We need to exercise our mind. I read a lot, books and magazines. I occasionally play the Mahjong game, a classic Chinese tile matching game. It really helps to stimulate the mind.
