Withtwo days left in June and a week into summer, this heat wave doesn't seem to have an end in sight. Despite this, going out today, wasn't as bad as usual. But I still came home covered in sweat . I had to cool down a bit before I could sit at my computer and post this.
I know I could have, and probably should have, gotten up and posted before I left, but I also over slept and was moving quite slowly. I am looking forward to it cooling down.

Florida tends to have a short winter, but an extended summer.

@kaylachan Not since last weekend, and then it was only a light shower.

@kaylachan Not everyone, it has been moderate here for the most part, although it does get humid.

@snowy22315 And, it's not the heat itself that kills but the humidity.

What's the weather like in Florida right now? We have only 2 seasons: dry and wet. Now we are in longer wet season. It's been raining all day long. My roof leaked so much.

It's hot with high humidity. Making it feel eight to ten degrees warmer then what's listed as the temp.

Taking a shower after going out from the scorching heat of the sun may relieve one's uneasy feeling of hotness.

It'll make you feel clean at least.

Today my computer says it's 93 degrees outside, but it doesn't feel like it. I've had the patio door open with the screen all day, and a breeze has been blowing.
