Yep, for lack of a better title, I’m just going to say hey lol.
The next few days are going to be busy for me. Today, I’m working on a 2,700-word direct order on Textbroker (direct order means it was sent to me personally). Tomorrow, I have a 700-word on Fiverr, and then Friday, I have a 1,700-word order on Fiverr. I’ll try to squeeze in some short Textbroker orders in between the Fiverr orders. I was going to do the same tonight, but I’m not gonna have time (but I’ll get to that in a minute).
So, I almost had a pretty big project on one of my writing websites, but the potential client kept going around in circles, dodging the question of word count and was disrespectful a few times. They even accused ME of wasting their time when I told them DAYS AGO that I didn’t feel I’d be a good fit for their project, but they insisted. So who really wasted who’s time here? Anyway, I was professional but blunt... I told them I didn't appreciate the disrespect, I no longer wanted to work together and to please not contact me again. They blocked me in return. Good. Lol. I need the money, but I don’t need the disrespect. I get the feeling I wouldn’t have made them happy no matter what I did, so no thanks.
Clearly, I have other orders to focus on anyway. :)
My agenda tonight is to work on this Textbroker order (which my client included all of the information I needed, yay!), get rid of a few more things in storage and run to the store. I don't WANT to go to the store, but I have a few necessities to pick up.

Good luck with your work. You don't need to be disrespected. No one deserves that and the money isn't worth it. We all want to get paid, but you do need to draw a line somewhere.

@tammys85 You're quite welcome. I feel like I can relate, only because I was a car for six years. I know how people can be, and I felt with many over the phone and occasionally face-to-face.

@ihasaquestion Oh, I've moved on. I already had work lined up, and now, they're gonna have to find another writer. I hope they treat the next one with more respect than they did me.

You are lucky to get the direct orders, I am not doing well on finding writing jobs, Someone got in touch with me through Upwork and said they would accept my job bid, Then I wrote to them and no word, Oh, well I pick up bits and pieces from my survey sites for now,
