So are You Siding-With the Stern/Cooper ticket in 2024?

I'm looking at the FOX NEWS-site's coverage of it ... just a little blurb, mostly quotes from Stern.
They're quoting HOWARD Stern---the famous radio talk-show host. And BRADLEY Cooper, the famous actor.
Their text doesn't place him in a political-party, but we're reminded (in their caption beneath a picture of him) that Stern ran for New York-governor as a Libertarian.
But of course, 'you KNOW' (or 'they say') that "putting him on the ballot as a Libertarian will only take votes away from one of the two bad choices (probably the only way Trump won in 2016).
So--even though Trump will call him 'a RINO' (Republican In Name Only) and several other more-childish insults--I think Stern should run as a Republican.
What do you think?

if he were serious, he wouldnt run as a libertarian. if this was the early 2000s, then i could see him running as a republican, but i can only see him running as a democrat now a days.
if he ran as a democrat, hed cause some changes in the party, win or lose, he would be thier trump.

I'm not sure of the difference between Democrats & Republicans (Liberals & Conservatives?) I mean; I obviously know what 'everybody THINKS it is'; but it's basically the difference between 'the Chicago Bears & the LA Lakers' (or substitute whatever other two sports-teams you want)

@mythociate - over the past few years its become a lil more definitive.
the political ideology is basically, dems want to control every facet of government and the people.
republicans - want government to stay out of peoples lives and let the people decide what is right for them according to where they reside.
people will nit pick at whatever position is presented, but it all comes down to common sense.
