Home body lotions are cheaper and equally effective than the imported ones.

My son send me a body gel lotion from Copenhagen which kept my body smooth for long. After I finished that I purchased an Indian made body gel lotion which was equally good but the cost was much less than the one he sent me. The reason the Indian product was produced in India but the one he sent me was produced in UK, marketed in US and sold in Copenhagen. Definitely the cost will increase as it's production, marketing and selling destinations are three different countries. I think home products are better than imported ones.

That's wise indeed. Home products need promotion.

It really depends on your skin type. If you think that local products in your place is better. Then, that`s good

If a product has good ingredients it will suit our skin. I normally read through the ingredients before buying a product. The expensive one was presented to me by my son.

I often buy "generic" products. I agree that they are just as good as the heavily marketed ones.

Wow, after going through all those countries it would make sense that it would be more expensive.

You are right. If a product has to move through so many countries before going into the hands of the customer, it's inevitable that its cost is going to increase.
