Waffles for breakfast

I'm cooking the second one now--already ate the first. I had batter left over from yesterday's experiment, so I thought I'd use it up. Seems better today--I spooned batter onto the waffle iron instead of pouring "a 1/4 of a cup" like the directions said to. The waffles were thicker than yesterdays, if I recall right, and so I think that I'll do the waffles this way from now on instead of per the instructions. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land !
