I barely cook or make enough, but I'll share something I stumbled upon when I had the flu, and was trying to eat/drink healthy to get well.
Even if it's something similar. We have people from all over the world, so maybe we can discover something new.
For my smoothie, of course you will need a blender. And...
-Chopped ginger
-Frozen raspberries
-Frozen blackberries
-Banana
-Organic honey
-Full lemon
(when I was coughing a lot, I would also throw a cough lozenge in the blender :)
Add Pomegranate Juice to fill in the gaps so you have a full load... I think most of you will like it. If you try it, please let me know what you thought of it.

The two kind of smoothies I have made are almond milk with frozen blueberries and almond milk with frozen bananas.

I've never tried almond milk. Is there a big difference?
I used to make banana milkshakes, but it was a lot of work for just one drink, so I buy Snickers ice cream bars instead :)

@PinkFloydFan Almond milk is more thin but thicker than skim cows milk. There is more of a nut taste. But I like that taste. Also it is a good milk substitute. A couple of times I have made macaroni and cheese which calls for cows milk. I have substituted almond milk and it turns out fine.

@LeaPea2417 Isn't that the kind you don't have to refrigerate until after opening? My fridge won't go above 20-30, no matter what the settings are, which is why I can't buy a lot of things. They freeze! But I do buy a lot of freezer foods.

I never thought to put cough lozenges in a smoothie. I love smoothies.

I only did it because I had a cough! And by grinding it all up, I can't taste it with all the other strong fruits, like lemon, etc..
